What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you open a page. It stores a short piece of information that the site can read again on your next visit, which is how a page retains your preferences or recognises that you have been here before. Cookies cannot run programs, they carry no viruses, and they do not give us access to anything else stored on your device.
Why this site uses them
We are an information resource with no accounts and no wagering, so our cookie use is limited. We use them to keep the site working correctly, to retain basic display choices, and to understand which pages people actually read so we can improve them.
Types of cookies we use
The cookies on this site fall into four groups, each with a distinct job and a different level of choice attached to it.
- Essential cookies: keep the site functioning, supporting page loading, security and basic navigation. Without them parts of the site would not work, so they cannot be switched off from within the site itself.
- Preference cookies: retain choices you make, such as your cookie consent decision, so you are not asked the same question on every page.
- Analytics cookies: count visits, record which sections are opened and show how visitors move through the site. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Third-party cookies: set by external services embedded in our pages, including the demo game and any analytics provider we rely on. They operate under the privacy terms of those services, not ours.
Only the first group is genuinely unavoidable. Everything else stays under your control, and refusing it costs you nothing but a slightly less tailored visit.
What we do not do
Cookie policies are often written to obscure how much data actually leaves a website. Ours is short because our use is limited, and the following practices have no place here.
- Advertising profiles: we do not use cookies to build them.
- Data sales: we do not sell or trade cookie data.
- Cross-site tracking: we do not follow you across unrelated websites.
- Sensitive data: we collect no payment details, identity documents or gambling account data through cookies, because we never handle any of it.
We have no advertising model to fund and no player accounts to monetise, which removes the usual commercial incentive to gather more than we need.
How long cookies last
Session cookies exist only while your browser is open and are erased the moment you close it. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period, which ranges from a few days to a couple of years depending on their purpose. Consent and preference cookies are the longest lived, because their entire job is to retain a decision you have already made.
Your consent
The first time you open this site, you are asked whether you accept non-essential cookies. Essential cookies load regardless, because the site cannot function without them. You may accept, decline or change your decision at any time, and declining does not lock you out of any content. Every page, the paytable, the game data and the demo remain fully available.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies through its settings menu. You can usually choose to block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or clear existing ones whenever you close the browser. The relevant section is generally found under privacy or site settings.
Blocking all cookies is your right, but it comes with a trade-off: some features may not behave as intended, and the embedded demo may fail to load. If you rely on assistive settings or a restricted browsing profile, we suggest allowing essential cookies at minimum.
Third-party content
Some pages link out to external websites, including licensed operators and support organisations. Those sites set their own cookies the moment you arrive, and we have no control over them. Reading their cookie notice before you use them is worth the minute it takes.
Updates to this policy
We revise this page whenever the cookies used on the site change, whether through new features or a change of service provider. The version published here is always the current one. Questions about our cookie use can be sent to [email protected].
More detail on how personal information is handled is set out in our privacy policy.
